Pajama Party in Palmsprings

Every year me and a my gal-pals go to PS for a long weekend, which involves shopping, eating, martini's and sun bathing - very fun! Becky started a few years ago giving a small gift to us, so now it's a tradition. We bring a lil' gift to exchange. Well this year was hilarious. Look at 3 of the gifts given - mugs w/ initial on it in 3 different shapes!

TANGERINE Dream

I had an awesome time meeting news friends at Colleen Moody'd class at Tangerine in Dublin while up in Bay area. Here are a few pictures of this sweet shop devoted to artists and their craft. Both Gina & Colleen were awesome host and teacher.

Old friends are like fine wine, they get better with time! It felt so great to pick up where we left off more than 7 years ago. What a treasure these classy ladies are!

A Lightning Round of Craft Boutiques

It was a beautiful weekend in Danville. I was able to visit many famous craft & gift boutiques, one of them was Castles in the Air in Berkeley.










Bay area craft frenzy! I had to go up to Santa Clara for work. Fortunately I was able to stretched it into a weekend. I spent the weekend with the delightful Miss Janis and she had a few old friends of mine by. It was so nice to see Nina, Dani & Janet - sweet memories for me. Road Trip To Pismo Beach For Diana Frey Workshop

It was a beautiful drive to Pismo Beach - purple lupine coated the hillsides. The Hotel was fabulous too - just look at this view!!! We brought all the fixin's for happy hour in our room - YUM! - the right way to start the weekend!

Gift Swap w/ Beez & Starlet

Some workshops will host a themed gift swap. I wanted for us 3 to have our own little gift swap - it was so much fun. I made crowns and a canvas w/ glove. Brenda made adorable aprons. And Starlet made us a gorgeous beveled-glass necklace and a faux cake! I was just giddy over the gifts!

Diana Frey's Workshop

My Christine's X's 2 were there and we sat at the same table... Miss C-Rose brought her handcrafted chandelier to share - it was so pretty! This photo does not do it justice!


It was a full day of learning at the Secret Shaker Doll Necklace Workshop. Diana is a wonderful teach. The class was the perfect size, and all in attendance were very talented in their on right. I looking forward to seeing many of them again as well as cultivating some new friendships!

Eye-Candy Craft Studio

At the end of our workshop, I mentioned to Diana what a treat it would be to see her studio, and to my surprise she said we could come by on Sunday! How sweet of her huh?! Every where I looked, I saw art... just prettiest things. It was such a treat!
