Studio Efforts

I spent most of my week in a creative frenzy! After the sublime premier issue of "Where Woman Create", which I savored every gorgeous page of, I was more than overly enthused about the garage-studio-conversion-project I started. I spray painted a large cubby-hole shelf pink. I took the "before & after" photo's AFTER 2 cans of primer! It was a DARK wood. Let's just say that my whole arm aches from the 6 cans of spray paint I went through!

I was a busy bee this weekend! Here is what I accomplished...

First I Tinafied a birdcage that was given to us by a close friend - Chris Straub. It belonged to his beloved Mother Rita. It sat outside for sometime, so it was in need of a lil' scrub & a lil' spray paint. Afterwards, I gave it a bit of bling... I think Rita would have approved!

I can't believe it! I've flipped my wig!

It's hardly been a week since I submited my "Champagne & Caviar" bag... to my delight, I get an unexpected email this morning from Haute Handbags!!!! They like it! Hooray! Wait until they find out my bags can be worn as a Russian Babushka hat (well only if you're a lil' nuts like me!).

Great New Today! My purse will be published in Haute Handbags in April 09 issue.

And it's all because these two beautiful ladies encouraged me to submit one of my purses to Haute Handbags!!! Everyone needs a pair of "Christine's" in their life!

Another week has rolled by. It's Friday and I'm ready for some fun around the house this weekend.

Well, maybe not a zoo, but my garage had 3 ADDITIONAL kittens in it!

My very first submission!

My creative consultants, Miss Xtine & Miss Christine Rose encouraged me to make & submit one of my lil' fuzz-buckets to Haute Handbags Magazine. I took there advice...


So I wanted to make something absolutely sublime... well, there isn't anything more sublime than Champagne & Caviar"!

This is it, my creation based on that theme.... glossy black caviar eggs and

effervescent champagne bubbles....

Color Switcher-rooo ~

I like to change the comforters on the beds a few time through out the year. It's a nice way to soak up a new color and to shuffle items around from other areas of my home.

I love Red & Pink together!

These toile comforters come to places like Home Goods & TJ Maxx. They're a good price, and an easy to change-out when I'm in need of a new color to marinate in (color is vital to me me!)
